Steve reviews the Nokia Tripod DT-22
I got even a little jealous because Steve from AAS has been lucky enough to be one of the first to get his hands on Tripod DT-22 and put impressions in a very detailed review. DT-22 is the la-*test*-('") addition in Nokia imaging accessories portfolio which we reported month or so ago. Tripod looks pretty compact and nice and there is no doubt that it will become pretty popular among professionals or maybe not!? You see, as you may already know, Nokia N93 camera soft is pretty limited and definitely isn’t as good as it it should be, there is no possibility to change ISO and therefore N93 will never allows you to set longer exposures that can’t be taken handheld and therefore there is really no need for the tripod from that point of view. From other hand TD-22 is ideal piece of hardware for keeping your phone steady while you shoot videos or use phone in delayed self portrait mode. Also considering that tripod features the adjustable adapter that ensures compatibility with several devices and even if it is initially aimed for N93 it will be perfect solution for the N73 owners. N73 has ability to change ISO sensitivity to take better photos in low lighting conditions with less noise and more details. Of course such a settings requires longer exposure and without optical image stabilization its pretty hard to take good photo without tripod.
