MerajNet first birthday! Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls, buckle up for another MerajNet speech!
From behalf of the MerajNet team, partners and other associates, we wish you a happy birthday. Yes, it's you who should be celebrating, without you, none of this would have been possible, so all this is for you, and please read the whole thing, as I will need your help for the future MerajNet projects.
I still remember, last year, 7th of February of 2006, when I had the vision of starting this business, to change the world, to give people what they needed, cheap phones and good quality, but today it's much more than that, MerajNet has become a lifestyle for some, people use it for anything and everything, and so can you.
Today MerajNet is recognized worldwide by the biggest players in the industry. Tomorrow we will be the big players of the industry, and you can be part of it! Currently we are in talks with some phone shop chains in US.
I had a vision, and now that vision has expanded, but to make it real, I will need your help. By 2010, we are going to form a humanitarian organisation, focusing in charity, refugee camps and other community work for those who need, because there are people who need the basics more than I do, but for that, I will need your help, we are going to team up with the biggest organisations such as United Nations and Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, we will conduct volunteer work around the world, as a NGO, like helping victims of civil wars, of poverty, etc. All profits made with my phone business will be conducted directly to this organisation, but I am still working on it, I just need to know if you are willing to contribute. If everyone donates R1 per day, it will be R30 per month times 50 people which equals to R1500 monthly to those who need, but this is a future vision, not to be placed now.
As you may have noticed in many of my speeches and/or newsletters, I try to focus a lot in peace and stuff alike, because that’s currently missing in the world, you just have to look around yourself and all you will find is hatred, greed and wars… I want to change my image from businessman to humanitarian, I realise that I don’t need all my income, especially because according to some analysts, my profit might rise skywards more that 310% and I am sure that there are people who need money much more than I do.
We all should know that the Doomsday Clock is marking 5 minutes to midnight, which means that we are very close to the total Holocaust, caused totally by us. Many factors such as global climate change, bird flu, AIDS, a possible World War 3, and poverty are the things that will be our end. I know that I can’t save the whole world, but we can atleast try to do our part, even though most of you are careless, showing pity or feeling sorry won’t change a damn thing, we need to act and spend our own money, wouldn’t you like someone to do the same for you if you were in such situation? The world isn’t fair, nobody said it was going to be, but we still say that it’s fair, so we must fight for fairness, a peaceful fight, a fight to end all fights.
Join in the MerajNet dream! :)
Back to business, you can expect the la-*test*-('") from us, as the Nokia N95 and Apple iPhone are hitting the market, we will be the some of the first to retail it in South Africa.
Thank you for everything and I hope we can celebrate for many years to come!
