Until when do I have to use my email to publish to my blog???Grrr!
Well I guess I'll have to go complain again...
Anyways, my good friend and member of MerajNet, MH was telling me about this guy who was \"fighting\" against Islam, some shocking and crazy stuff, some people just have no idea when they attack a religion, Islam means Peace for those of you who didn't know!
My cap is pretty much gone, I won't have to worry about it when I'm at my well-deserved holidays in Mozambique! But I have no idea who's gonna take control of MerajNet, it's almost 10 days that the site will lower in activity, I might just make some plans to work from there.
I see that the website business response is particularly from businesses, so for personal sites I think I should lower costs, I'll have to review that this week...
And that's all for now...

Sorry for not keeping everyone up-to-date with the news:
-My Forum was down from 08:15 28 December 2006 and will hopefully be up and running again tonight.
Many websites and other services cannot be accessed due to damage in the undersea fibre optic cables caused by the huge earthquake in Southern Asia, each cable costs half a million US$ !
I am going away on Saturday so please bear with me during 9 days because it will be difficult to update forum, site and blog.
My cap is finished as well, that's why I didn't update the blog yesterday, today I am doing it at extra cost, and I have to remove the Christmas tree from the homepage and add a link in the links page.
We have hit 10000 pageloads, congrats to us and thanks to all visitors.
As well as congrats to IslamNet, partner project to MerajNet, which hit over 10000.
It's raining heavily down here for a week non-stop, and it's suppose to be summer..
I'll try to keep updates with my phone..

I waited 2 whole years for the damn iPhone, and now I get this crap. It does have a beautiful 3.5" touchscreen, but no keypad! It's the first phone to run MAC OS X, we have no idea how it will perform. It got no 3G or HSDPA! It does have maps, but no GPS. It has a 2 megapixel camera, a bit outdated, and no autofocus or optical zoom! This is definately for the Apple lovers, but I will stick to Nokia Symbian phones, the best software ever! Plus Apple is in trouble, they getting sued over the iPhone brand, because it belongs to Cisco. I have a feeling that this phone will flop, it isn't even FCC approved yet. That's all I got to say now...

I was arguing with some of my friends, why not to buy the Samsung D900, everyone knows that I have something against non-Symbian phones, and here's the reasons.
Although the D900 does have a 3 megapixel camera, MP3, memory card slot, TV-out, etc, it lacks on what a top brand phone should have that makes it competitive, and that is software. D900 can be beaten easily by a well equiped 6600 (like mine). Like every other "D" of it's series, it gets old soon, look at how long it took for the D500, D600, D820 to get out of fashion, very fast! These Samsungs lack on real performance due to the programs missing, the power, and it's very superficial to buy them because they are expensive and turn to be easily beaten by competition. My point of view still remains, buy a phone with good software that can last long!
MerajNet had a few changes in it's homepage design, and I've added it to few internet directories hoping that it will bring more visitors.

Some of my friends who work at companies requested me an email address suggestion, so I gave her a formal one because I knew she was going to use it for business purposes, although she argued that her friends had customized ones with numbers all along, etc.
Here's an article that I found explaining the situation:
"
First impressions matter – whether you're applying for a job, making a bid on a contract, or trying to attract new customers to your business.
Since so many companies today use e-mail marketing to woo potential customers, a prospect's first impression of your business may be whatever lands in their inbox.
Consider what market research firm, eMarketer reported in August 2006:
"The ubiquity of e-mail, among marketers and Internet users, has created a take-it-for-granted attitude that detracts from its actual power. But with a 90% penetration rate among Internet users—over 55% of all Americans—e-mail represents an audience with critical mass, and it is the primary delivery vehicle for word-of-mouth marketing."
So what can your small business do to take full advantage of the power of e-mail? How can you improve the odds your messages make a positive first impression and don't become a casualty of the delete key?
Start with your e-mail address.
If you are still using an e-mail address provided by your Internet Service Provider (ISP), you are probably losing points on the credibility scale. Think about it: If you get mail from someone trying to sell you services and the mail comes from example555@hotmail.com, what's your first impression? Does this address say "serious business" to you? Probably not.
Alternatively, e-mail branded with a company name simply looks more legitimate and more professional. If you receive a message from tim.litton@northwindtraders.com, for instance, your first impression is going to be a much more positive one. At first blush Northwind Traders appears to be a going concern.
In reality, Northwind Traders may be a two-person shop. But you can't tell from his e-mail address whether Tim Litton and his wife are running a business out of their basement – or if Tim is CEO of a company that employs 300 people in a Manhattan high-rise.
Your goal, of course, isn't to mislead potential customers or pretend to be something you aren't. But you also don't want them to dismiss you as a serious business simply because your e-mail address looks unprofessional. Once they get past the address, you have an opportunity to influence their decision whether to do business with you based on the merits of your offer."

There seems to be a problem with googlepages, so I cannot edit my pages properly, I've sent them an email, hope they fix the glitch, usually they just tell me there's something wrong with me...
I am now uploading pictures and stuff about my holidays in Mozambique, check them here.
I hope I can do some useful stuff for the site during the weekend, because I'm quite busy during the week...Also gotta do some stuff for IslamNet, just awaiting word from MH.
You might have noticed that I added a Spam section at the Forum, i think the regular spammers deserve a section totally dedicated to them lol.
Will upload phone news and stuff ASAP...
eagleslayor- 01-20-2007
I'm a step closer to start web designing with some powerful companies, I will give more details when the deal is completed, or you can monitor my business webpage...
I'm thinking that it would really be a good idea to start a mobile phone news blog, just check how many news i post regurlarly in forum, click here.
I got a video of the upcoming Nokia N76, I will post it ASAP.
Some crazy stuff happening around the world due to this crazy weather, here in South Africa, in one of the countries biggest soccer clubs, in the stadium, publicity boards in the field started to fly around, it was even reported on Sky News. Global warming is gonna kill us all one day, talking about that, the Doomsday clock, a clock mantained by some Atomic group thingy, moved to 5 minutes to midnight, which stands for the nuclear holocaust. I mean, look around you, shouldn't it be 5 seconds instead? I hope I'm being too much of a pessimist...
eagleslayor- 01-22-2007
I got one of those Xpango emails where they say that they will give this award and that gift and all these stuff....It's all b*lls*it I say...I just wish I could sue them lol
Well MerajNet birthday is close, not the website, but the actual business and concept, 7th February to be precise, I am thinking of a competition but people have to choose between a N73 or an Xbox 360, I'll see if I can make this competition happen, if I can get enough funds and stuff, because I am reducing my profit heavily so that I can sell cheap phones due to the birthday.
I must also get some business card so that I can take it and give to important people when I go for my overseas meetings and stuff.
I might also ask someone to build some themes with the MerajNet birthday background, and some dedicated graphics...
Have you heard about the new .eu domain? Well I am advising my clients to get it, would be really cool and I would be like a pioneer!
A M600i review might be coming on it's way, sponsored by Big City Records' big man, Chelcie de Almeida!
I'm out now, Peace!
eagleslayor- 01-26-2007
Yeah that's what Vodacom is giving me, they got this hectic problem with international sites, I struggle to connect.
Plus I had to fight with some registars and found out that it is a mission to get .pt's registered, so I had to offer a .net instead to my customer, my sincere apologies to my customer at Crown Crest!
Well I was also not feeling well today, some virus in my stomach that's what doctor says, I problably downloaded some infected attachment I guess...
I managed to review all the 4 phones, I will post the full review during the weekend!
that's all for now!
eagleslayor- 01-26-2007
Well I am now working on the mega-review, mentioned previously.
The M600i review is also very close, check it here.
Weekend finally! Tiring week...
MerajNet aniversary is getting closer, should I offer a Nokia N73 or a Xbox 360 in the competition?
Not much to say, also because I am feeling VERY sleepy, well I'm off to bed, enjoy your evening everyone!
eagleslayor- 02-03-2007
Yeah I hit my cap limit again, 500MB, I mean what the hell do you expect me to do with such a little cap???
I'm using virgin mobile right now, they don't have any 3G so I have to survive with GPRS!
Well my forum is also giving me a downtime, so I cannot post my parcial N73 review or post in my new blog (Shhh don't tell anyone, it's a secret!)
Well I have joined a new forum where I hope to make my websites and other works better thanks to it's owner, I will post more detail later on.
I have also asked two people if they could get me some kind of logo for MerajNet birthday, I hope they can do a good job!
I managed to provide my customer Crown Crest a decent email service with the Windows Live GUI, his website is www.crowncrest.net, now I just need to sort out the domain masking and I'm done, I am also doing bilingual site, check it out...
That is all for now!
eagleslayor- 02-03-2007
Well back I am, but very sleepy, I hope you noticed my new blog here , enjoy it and contribute if you can, as I paired it with my forum, every post got a specific thread attached to it.
I managed to successfully activate email accounts for both my customers, thanks to WebAfrica, and I opened a email only service, can be lucrative but few customers want it.
New customers might be coming soon, as soon as Monday I hope.
That is all for now, my eyes are closing...
